1. Lauren Green is the worse person to be working on this story. She's an extremely religious Christian and you can see how much on a Fox News article titled 'The Inaccuracy of Kathy Griffin's Remarks on Jesus'. Lauren Green actually says, "... I want to actually show you that, in fact, Kathy Griffin is wrong. Jesus had everything to do with her winning that award. Here's the link to the article. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,296683,00.html
Can Fox News find a less bias person to report on religion?

2. They should have invited Hitchens to discuss this. He would have talked their ears off.

5. I particularly love how they "accidentally" left off the -lor on Annie Laurie Gaylor's name, obviously to give thier audience just that much more of twinge of revulsion at her mere existance. Bunch of fucking lying, craven shitbags.

7. Freedom from religion needs to pick their battles more carefully!

There is no religious message on the stamp, just a portrayal of a well liked character!

I dont really care what standards the post office have. They are a governmental body and so are governed by the constitution. They are not alowed to endorse a religion. I belive this would include endorsing a religous figure. HOWEVER I do not think a religous figure should be precluded because some of their notoriety is religous in nature. Martin Luter King is righfully a stamp REGARDLESS of his religous affilaition. The argument could be made that Mother Terisa was a humanitarian however i would strongly dissagree. If the case was made that she was a humanitarian however i would have little problem with her induction.
