  1. Remarkable. Truly remarkable. That an adult in the 21st century, in a responsible position such as newspaper editor, could be so utterly ignorant about something so common throughout the world is utterly pathetic on so many levels.

I find it astonishing that people still cling to medieval judgements like 'homosexuality is a poison'. We probably have religion to thank for that blessing.

  5. I think the western media is making a huge mistake in the manner which these people are interviewed. By condemning these acts as "savage" and "uncivilized" they're reusing attitudes and words familiar to these people who have seen the harshest side of colonialist attitudes.

The kind of rejoinder this public policy needs is a call for a turning away from imported christian values.

  7. ugh, this makes me sick to the gut. Now that the secular west is harder to control with disgusting lies and hate, the religious nuts go to the less educated and more superstitious countries to exacerbate already existing ignorance and discrimination. Thank you very much, christians, if Jeebus weren't just a fictional character he'd be spinning in his grave.

  10. Now, humor us for just a moment; in your opinion would that be more, or less surprise, than that which the rest of us experience upon noticing that you've chosen to ignorantly and idiotically embarrass yourself yet again with an inane and tedious comment on said same type of video? Just wondering. Tool,
