ReplyDeleteNothing in it about referring these crimes to the police. In fact, there's this line in the letter: "Cases of this kind are subject to the pontifical secret." Not entirely sure what 'the pontifical secret' means, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean 'open and transparent'.
