When will we hear an interviewee stump the interviewer with one of the short answers? Like: "I'm agnostic as well as atheist" or "because agnostic is not a valid answer (to the question of belief)".
Martin: Not being of the internet age and subsequently not sure of all the trendy acronyms, short forms and meaningful keyboard signals and strokes, I looked up "troll" on Wiki. The answer to your query is "yes" (the answer to your second question is contained in the first) This is definitely an "intentionally provocative action" on my part, but I don't consider it "off-topic." I'd agree, however, it might be considered "off-topic" to those whose opinions differ. And then, of course there are those who don't have an opinion until they check to see the way the wind is blowing.
GOOD GRIEF!!! Another bigoted racist, just like Condell!!!
ReplyDeleteIs trolling fun? Why else do it?

'The Patrician gets really shirty about ethnic trouble,' said Sergeant Colon moodily. 'He gets really sarcastic about it.'

BluePrint: Fantastic quote.
ReplyDeleteI have a particular affection for: "No matter how sarcastic I get, I can't seem to keep up."
Sadly, agnosticism understood as "the question of a gods existance is unanswerable" is very rarely used in practice it seems. It would be nice though.
ReplyDeleteSame goes for atheism understood as "I don't believe in any gods, whether any exist or not is a different question".
Ayaan is so brilliant!
