I was really hoping I could show I'm really an equal opportunity hater.
Maybe the next atheist site I find is run by pedophiles. When I exposed their lifestyle, I'm sure I'II be labeled a, "pedophile hater!" and then get called all types of nasty names just like this site.

OK, I’m out of here for good!

  4. That is just hard to watch, but I hope as many people as possible see it. This is what happens when people blindly follow a books rules and the book says a being, who you can't debate with, is the absolute authority on morality. They follow any irrational interpretation they get out of that book. Just as the saying goes,

"If you can get people to believe absurdities, you can get them to commit attrocities."

  5. Non-Believe,

I agree with you about the gay videos that have nothing to do with atheism or religion.

This is not one of those. This video does belong here. It is a vid about religious people, qouting the bible, telling others how to live their lives. This vid is a great example of the kind of gay videos that do belong here in my opinion.

  6. I have been following this blog for some time now, but can not recall any "gay" video's without a religious point to it. Maybe its just me, but you don't have to view all the video's posted. Don't like a certain aspect or person, just dont watch it.

  7. El Guapo is just in denial about the massive role religion plays in the anti-gay side of all these issues.  There isn't ANY gay rights issue anywhere in the US that is not tied to religion in a big way.  The only difference between this video and others is whether the video says it explicitly or just assumes the viewer is paying attention enough to the political landscape to already know that.

  8. In the past week you never commented on any video in any way other than to complain that there are videos about gay rights here, despite the fact that there were plenty of other videos to comment on that didn't touch the issue of gays.  This is why I don't believe you when you claim there should be a purpose to an atheist site that excludes gay rights issues.  If you actually believed that, then you'd be saying something constructive and participating in comment threads about the other videos here.  The only purpose in your posting is to complain about the existence of gay rights videos.  You aren't making any other kinds of posts (at least not lately as fat back as i looked), and so your claim that you think there should be other stuff to talk about that isn't about gay rights is clearly bullshit.  If you thought that, then you'd be participating in those other, more "pure" atheism comments in addition to complaining about the "gay videos", rather than exclusively complaining about the "gay videos" and doing nothing else here.

    So, yah, good riddance.

  9. Very funny how God apparently chose Uganda for spreading the hate against homosexuality.

  10. the only thing I've ever seen you do on this webpage is to complain about the gays.. It's hard to see how you contribute at all to a more religious free world.

    So yeah, good riddance.

  13. I'm very happy this video was shared. I think it has very much to do with atheism/religion, and I also think it's very relevant to the LGBT-atheists. I'd wish all atheists/antitheists would learn from the mistakes of religion, and not become homophobes too. It's not funny to be born as gay.

  15. The blog "Talk To Action" had done several pieces on the situation in Africa. A search finds these  19 articles. I skipped around in the video and saw Lou Engle (Wikipedia) show up. Here's two of his videos that are really creepy.  Note the frenzied crowds, and, in the 1st video, the view that martyrdom will be needed.

  17. As I said above, I skipped around in this video. I didn't see anything about the Catholic church's response to the proposed law. The last thing I read was that there hadn't been a response. I have a hard time believing that this misery cult is evil enough to let the bill be debated without coming out against it. If anyone has an update, a comment would be appreciated.
