I didn't really like this one actually, as it doesn't solve anything to be just as much of an asshole as the guy who reads his Bible outloud... you may be showing him that he's being inconsiderate to others, but then you're doubling the disturbance of peace.
For this reason, I voted for the Think Rationally short. Unlike the other submissions for the contest, it briefly noted all the different kinds of questions the Bible can't answer. I think this method is in fact more damaging to religion than merely attacking it, because discovering that religion doesn't have all the answers is the first step to letting go of it.
Luckily we don´t see that kind of behaviour here. I did remember once an african woman waving the bible just before the gay pride parade here in Copenhagen. Then there are all the Jehova Witnesses ringing on our doorbells. I always tell them that life is fantastic and that they should stop worrying and go out and enjoy themselves. Usually does the trick, they prey on people´s anxiety´s and are in the business of selling fear.
I voted for "The Values We All Stand For", although "Think Rationally" is right up there in the common sense department.
But "Just a Book" was my second choice, actually. From a purely emotional standpoint, I'd LOVE to start reading out loud the minute some freak quoted the Bible in public. Immature, I know, but oh so satisfying.
I get what you're saying, but I'd love for scripture quoters to see that they're really just reading a book and that they look awfully silly.
