  1. "If that was true then we would not be allowed to display the Declaration of Independence in the National Archives because of its explicit reference to a creator."

    What an ignorant moron...

  2. Fox News: Onward Christian soldiers. Bring light to the heathens, as in "light them up."

  3. He's right, that private company has a right to put this on their product.

But the REAL issue is whether the US government should be buying from a company which puts that on their product. His statement about the Declaration of Independence was so willfully ignorant that I can't imagine he has ever had any honest dealings in constitutional law. It's a clear violation of the Establishment Clause, and more importantly it's a diplomatic nightmare in dealing with the already touchy Muslim nations.

  4. I suppose I was expecting too much from Fox News to think that this clip would contain both viewpoints.

The problem with that is that the Declaration of Independence is NOT a legal document. It has no legal baring on our laws or the way we govern our people. What a jackass.

  7. I've heard it negotiated as "Thou shalt not kill (your own people)."

  8. "Thou shalt not kill"  is in referance to murder, not fighting for rights and freedoms of one's own or another's country.
