Our global community finds itself in the midst of a human rights crisis. Many governments and institutions around the world are punishing individuals simply for deviating from, in word or in deed, religion and commonly practiced cultural customs.The right to freedom of expression is being whittled away, and innocent and peaceful people are every day suffering the consequences.

At the Center for Inquiry, we believe it's time for the global community to stand up together and declare that this is unacceptable.
