Father Morris: Congressman Rangel Mocked the Idea of Talking to God

  1. As a Catholic, let me be the first to say that Father Morris is a huge douchebag. The upshot of this conversation is that those whom Fox News disagrees with only hear their 'conscience' (which Congressman Rangel was clearly making allusion to) they take to be God, while conservatives hear real God.

Had they politically agreed with Mr. Rangel, we'd be hearing about the personal nature of prayer and the 'inner voice' of conscience and blah blah blah.

  2. Why is it ok to praise god publicly but its not ok to dis god publicly?   Last I heard we had freedom of speech in this country.  People have a right to their opinion whether the religious like it or not.

"He said it just for the show"!!! No, really?

There is a bromance going on between Morris and the news anchor on the (excuse the pun)far right. If he´s not careful he could end up on the.....MoLow???

  5. Why do they never ask the questions I want them to ask!!!   When the priest sad you should ask god for guidance, then check that advice with experts and friends.  They should have jumped in and said, if it's advice from god, wouldn't it be infallible???    Also loved  his example that you can't say that god advised you to start a war.   George W anyone?

  6. I love when he says in reference to hearing god, "You have to see if they're rational". WHAT!? I guess god sometimes says crazy shit. Abraham and Isac anyone?

  7. I also prefer to know which persons are so delusional, that they somehow 'think' that they have a direct line to a non-existent entity.

  8. thanks for your input Fr Morris...now.....arent you a member of that international paedophile ring and a stanuch defender of the patron saint of kiddy fiddlers Her Ratzinger? Yes, thought so. So you think that getting bad press is a worse offence than raping a 12 year old boy.

Well, thanks for your input you mealy mouthed dog collared scumbag. We have Jack The Ripper on tomorrow. Perhaps you could come on and defend his sterling efforts to keep those damned sinning whores off our streets....

  9. I hate being in this position, but FOX is pretty much right on this one. Every politician that cynically uses religion to get votes deserves to be called out on it. Its to the shame of the the other networks for not picking up on Rangel's blatant hypocrisy. @Ivan if this was a republican caught doing this, do you think MSNBC would have kept it to themselves? No, is the answer.

  10. I'm a conservative AND an atheist. I don't talk to god(s) and never have.

Some of these posts display the same broad-brush type thinking as the religious ignorance they purport to dislike.
