Sometimes, these simplest, most obvious arguments are the most effective. Reminds me of the one I used as a kid, about the loving, merciful god creating fast, big creatures that eat the slow, little ones.

Missing reports of the collapsed churches during the earthques, burrying hundreds of worshippers under the rubbles.
