  6. What an amazing Jackass. The depressing thought is that he was probably telling the truth about the amount of email he received.

  9. I don't see a major problem. He didn't metion thos who have no god, which is sadly typical. However he wasnt asserting that the guy must pray to his own god.
He was just using it to make the point, that he doesn't mind if people do pray.

  10. Why didn't he just come out and admit he's a religious bigot? He's an arrogant Christian who wants to make sure that he gets his freedom, WITHOUT the fear that others will be offended, to stick his religious practices into the proceedings of a secular government. "I'm gonna pray to my god," as if Parvez Ahmed would threaten his ability to do so. Now that's a true asshole.

Ahmed was very smart in his response.

  12. You pray to your God and I'll pray to my God.
I'll pray to my God and you'll pray to your God.
    Your God,
    My God,
    Your God,
    My God,
Let's call the whole thing off.

  15. For the ten thousand and second time, people who support separation of church and state do not, I repeat, do not think people should not be allowed to pray to Jesus, Allah, L. Ron Hubbard, Zeus, or whatever. What we oppose is using my tax money, which includes time and property, to worship your little friend in the sky. You can pray all you want, but you have no right to act like your religion is the official one. You disagree, take it up with Hamilton and Jefferson.
