  1. Well I can't expect Obermann to actually give a good counter argument to libertarian ideas, but at least he's admitting that there's a difference between them and the neo cons.

  2. Really?  Founder of DailyKos talking about the constitution?  Makes me almost as sick as hearing Palin talking about it.  I kinda doubt he's ever read it either. Same spin...all lovers of freedom are racist conspiracy nuts who think Obama was born in Kenya and just hate the poor.  Oh and they're all members of a militia and are about to start killing abortion doctors nationwide. Evangelical jesusfreaks teabaggerteabaggerteabagger.

It's getting really old at this point.

  3. I find it very hard to take the republican teabaggers seriously when they discover fiscal conservatism as soon as their guy is not running the show.

And the number of ridiculous conspiracies don't help. Let's see:
Birthers (he's not legitimate), he's an anti-christ, socialist/communist, a muslim, he'll take away their guns, internment camps, pals with terrorists etc...

And they complain about taxes even though for most they have been lowered.

  5. Didn't the Tea Party thing start toward the end of Bush's second term? I think it was over the TARP thing or could have been before, but the first time I heard about it they were protesting TARP.

  6. Ron Paul supporters started it way before...and then came the republicans and turned it into another beast.
