  2. Just because someone issues a veiled death threat doesn't mean you have to bend over for them.  For my money, Comedy Central is who Jon should be singing to.

  3. I'm really proud of Jon Stewart for not backing down and letting the extremist know it's NOT okay to intimidate and threaten like that.  You're the man Jon.

  5. He was harsh on the ones doing the threatening, which is good, but he was soft on his employer, Comedy Central, having a dhimmi attitude, which is not good.  If you go read the south park blog and see what the creators said about this ,CC did more than just bleep the word mohommed.  They also bleeped Kyle's moralizing speech at the end, which did not mention mohommed but did mention what's wrong with caving in to threats.  That's not just deference to the terrorist community, that's also censoring the message that would have made CC's censorship look bad.  They didn't just censor criticism of terrorist mulsims.  They censored Kyle to erase what would have been criticism of themSLEVES for what they had just done.

  6. I doubt comedy central would want to be the alone target to fanatics.
If something happens then media should by large make a huge cooperate effort for free speech.
