Did the guy in rome say that the U.S. is a country of swedes that is governed by swedes? If so, what did he mean? If he did'nt say so, what did he say?
I think he was implying that the US is run as a secularist nation (Like Sweden, hence Swedes). Run by largely secular organisations according to a secular constitution, but dominated by extreme religious fervour and practice at the public (grassroots) level.
