The James Randi Educational Foundation gets many applicants for it's Million Dollar Challenge who claim to be able to dowse. Many say that they can detect things from Water, Gold, Money and the like. What many of them fail to do is to research the ideomotor effect.Links from JR:
We received an application for the Challenge which is a perfect example of how people sometimes just can't understand that the rods are only responding to their movements.
