  1. He could see what was going on when he first got there, because Jesus was there with him (that's why the demons didn't first attack him.)  It only became pitch black after Jesus had left.

Also, I'm pretty sure if you were in a giant black room, you would be able to see flames from a fire about a mile away.

  2. Mommy and Daddy love you SO much, but if you don't obey us completely, we're going to lock you in the basement forever.

    Yeah, that sounds like LOVE.

  3. wicket99, it has nothing to do with obeying God completely no one is capable of living a sinless life. That's why he sent His son to die on the cross for our sins. It's not about what we can do for God, it's about what He has done for us.  John 3:16 says "for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."  We are all sinners and fall short of God's glory. This is where Jesus stepped in and paid the price for our sins so we wouldn't have to spend eternity in hell.  It's inevitably our choice to decide for Christ or against Him. He's not  going to force us to do anything, true love is patient, kind, and it is not  rude.  It is not His will for us to go to hell, God created hell for the devil and his fallen angels. Just as the angels have free will, so do we.  I choose Christ because He has proven Himself to me many times. Just think that if you were to die today are you 100% sure that you would just be buried in the ground and that would be it?  I'm guessing you probably aren't, because you've never died nor have I. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." We can't see the wind but we know it's there.  We can feel it and we can see it's presence working through leaves, trees, etc. Likewise this is how faith works we can feel it and  see it working through people's lives.  Whoever reads this I pray that you would take it to heart and into consideration.  God loves you no matter what you've done or been through. He is always there to offer His love and forgiveness, all you have to do is reach out and accept it.  But the key is accepting it through Christ Jesus.  He died so that we may live.  Don't delay. Tomorrow may be too late.

  5. If god created hell for the devil and his fallen angels, why would humans end up there? Do humans become angels when they die?
If so, why is their status defaulted to 'fallen', shouldn't they get a chance to "prove themselves" as angels? don't non-former-human angels get that chance?

If I would die today, I'm 100% sure I would not be just buried in the ground.
First, my personality can't be buried.
Second, initially my body will be harvested for organ donation, then whatever is left will be donated to science (research or medical training) and cremated when useless.
I know all this because I have a legally binding document stating those are my wishes.

  6. he did not create hell for us his children. Lucifer (the devil) the scripture says was the most beautiful angel. he was most loved by God...until he got proud and decided he wanted to be God. God then had to kick him outta heaven and send him to a place he deserved (hell). God made man to be with him and communicate with him. Remember he created the garden of eden first and afetr the place was beautiful, he made man to live there and just have fun. he created woman to be adam's helper. So things would be easy and great for him. Then the devil not wanting to burn by himself decided to bring down man with him and he succeeded. God then decided to redeem man by sending Jesus to die for us. believe and be saved. God loves you!

  7. Oh... I get it.
God sends people to hell because two of his friends got tricked by a guy he doesn't like.
What a swell dude, really makes me want to be in his company...
