Sex Charges for Leader of Doomsday Cult

CLAYTON, N.M. (KRQE) - The leader of a self-admitted cult is accused of inappropriately touching three girls, one when she was just 12 years old.

Wayne Bent, who also goes by Michael Travesser, was arrested today at the northeastern New Mexico ranch where he and his followers live. He's charged with three counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Read More
