Presidential candidates favorite Bible Verse

  1. I couldn't help but notice that, aside from John Edwards, all of the canidates struggled to think of a Bible verse. Most devote Christians can cite chapter and verse. As for Kucinich, St. Vincent's prayer for peace isn't even in the Bible. Gravel is crazy as loon but at least he was honest about what he believs. Not one of the "Sermon on the Mount" guys identified Matthew Chapter 5 as the source and there are is a lot more to Matthew 5 than just do onto others and judge not less thee be judged. For instance "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil," "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
