Several of those quotes from GOP canidates were taken out of Context, there was a "but" after both Gulliani and Romney's answer to the Bible question. But I do agree that voters are getting pretty tired of the religion issue being the focal point of the whole election. It could easily be the downfall of the GOP if they are perceived as being strictly a fundamentalist religious party. There was some hope, with Rudy Giuliani, but he seems to have been knocked out with this "security detail for his mistress" scandle which isn't shouldn't even be a blip on the radar as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a right-winger but I feel for Rudy because he strikes me as a good and honest man. I wish I could do somthing to help the GOP drive out the televangelists but in a way they had it coming because they tried to use what they saw as a gulible, unsophisticated and yet well organized group of citizens for their own ends only to find themsleves on the receiving end of the scam.
