Hey, don't laugh, Robertson came in second in the 1988 Republican Nomination race beating Jack Kemp and Bob Dole. There is an excellent show that PBS did called "With God on Our Side: George W. Bush and the Rise of the Religious Right in America"

I know, He has a large flock of sheep. This guy has done it all... Televangelism, faith healing, prophecy, army, presidential elections and much more. he even claims to be able to leg-press 2000 pounds, thanks to his miracle shake.
