Mike Huckabee and Bill O'Reilly on Creation and Evolution

October 31, 2007

  1. Hi, I'm Mike Huckabee....I live in a cave with my eyes closed and my hands over my ears. Lalalalalal, I don't need your rational explanations of how the world is round or the Earth revolves around the sun. You can keep that logical stuff to your self while I try to get control of a nuclear country and help everyone die quicker than they want.

Hi, I'm Bill O'reilly. I try to sound smarter than I am and hold conversations that are fair and balanced on the side of chrixtianity.

  2. I think Gov. Huckabee's point seems to be that evolutionary biology "proves" atheism is true; yes he mentioned Francis Collins but then sort of waved his work off with an argument from personal incredulity and hinting that Collins might be a closet Atheist. I cannot help but think that either the Gov. is not very bright or that he is attempting to put a friendly face on reconstructionist dominionism ... I haven't decided yet but I'm leaning toward willful ignorance. BTW, most academic theologans despise creationism because it makes Christianity look silly.
