I couldn't be happier that this tragedy has been brought to light. Now we need to continuosly hammer home to people that this is not unique to the Catholic church. Rather, such behavour is the natural outcome of assuming one has a moral superiority invested in them through worship of a "higher" power than human moral reasoning.<br /><br />Additionally, and also crucially, I think it is incumbent upon all free thinkers to resist the eventual "a few bad apples" backlash argument that this church, and other faiths, will inevitable use to defend the occurence of these incidents; and by extension the existence or importance of religion.Shanenoreply@blogger.com
